Isuzu Announces Major Enhancements to Popular N-Series Diesel Trucks for 2022iMY

i N-Series diesel models will be Electronic Vehicle Stability Control (EVSC). EVSC monitors the truck’s steering wheel angle, individual wheel rotation speed, lateral G forces and more. When the system senses that the vehicle is at risk of losing stability, it alerts the driver via an on-dash warning light and automatically reduces engine output and applies braking pressure as needed to help the truck maintain stability. EVSC works in tandem with Anti-Slip Regulation (ASR), an advanced traction-control system that works to provide grip when the truck is on loose or wet surfaces. ASR will also be standard on all 2022

Isuzu N-Series 22 getting makeover and safety updates

Mar 10, 2021 The 2022i Isuzu N-Series diesel trucks will begin production in July, and will be available at its network of nearly 300 dealers in the U.S. in the third quarter this year. Isuzu, during the National Truck Equipment Association’s Work Truck Week 2021 virtual trade-show event Wednesday, announced several enhancements for its 2022 interim model year N-Series diesel trucks, including the addition of Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) with Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) and a Lane Departure Warning System, and Electronic Vehicle Stability Control (EVSC).  [ Shaun Skinner, president of both Isuzu Commercial Truck of America and Isuzu Commercial Truck of Canada, said his company sold 9,300 N-Series diesels last year, and plans to sell 11,000 this year on strength in the e-commerce and urban delivery segment.
