April 5, 2021 Eddie Jackson, Jr., age 54, of Monroe, was arrested on an out of jurisdiction Bench Warrant from the Gonzales Police Department. Jackson remains in the VPSO jail awaiting transfer to Gonzales. Richard Allen Bailey, age 36, of Rosepine, was arrested and charged with six counts of Violation of a Protective Order, one count of Improper Telephone Communications, one count of Improper telephone communications, one count of Possession of a Schedule I Narcotic, one count of Possession of a Schedule II Narcotic (Methamphetamine), and one count of Illegal possession of a firearm while in possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Bond has not been set and Bailey remains in the VPSO jail.
