Alcoa grant to provide support to Kwinana families in partnership with Foodbank WA Families living within the Kwinana area that are struggling to put food on the table will be provided with a voucher to purchase items from Foodbank WA’s Mobile Van Service at Frank Konecny Community Centre thanks to the latest partnership between Alcoa and Foodbank WA. A similar partnership will see the Mobile Van service commence in Pinjarra with the Murray House Resource Centre to provide the local community support during these challenging times. A total of $16,000 worth of vouchers will be provided across both communities. This support is expected to help struggling families over the next six to eight months.
