Open-source collaboration to encourage digital twin innovation BOSTON, MA – MAY 12, 2021 –  Digital Twin Consortium® (DTC™) announced an open-source collaboration community to accelerate the adoption of digital twin-enabling technologies and solutions. Consortium members and non-members can collaborate on open-source projects, code, and collateral and become part of the DTC ecosystem. To contribute to the new open-source collaboration community, candidates complete a project application, which the DTC Technical Advisory Committee reviews. If approved, contributors upload their project or related content to the DTC Open-Source Collaboration GitHub site. GitHub is an open-source repository hosting service, which contains project files and revision history, and enables participants to share and collaborate on digital twin-related content and projects.

Pact signed to operate, maintain bunker terminal facility in Duqm port By: Times News Service Photo: Supplied Muscat: OQ owned Oman Tank Terminal Company (OTTCO) and Oman Oil Marketing Company (OOMCO) signed an agreement regarding the operations and maintenance for OOMCO’s bunker terminal facility in the port of Duqm. The agreement was signed on Sunday at OQ’s head office in Muscat by Ard Van Hoof, CEO, OTTCO and Hussain Jama Bait Ishaq, Acting CEO, OOMCO. The agreement represents the strong effort of the two companies to offer a cost-effective proposition to their customers both for the storage of liquid products and marine fuel delivery in the port, as well as the contribution to the competitiveness of Duqm as a regional port.

OTTCO and Port of Duqm sign agreements

Advertisement OQ owned Oman Tank Terminal Co. (OTTCO) and Port of Duqm Co. (PODC) have signed two agreements regarding a sub-usufruct agreement and a berth operating license agreement. The two agreements were signed at OQ’s head office in Muscat by Mr Hilal Al Kharousi, Chief Commercial Officer – representing OTTCO, and Mr Reggy Vermeulen, CEO, Port of Duqm Co. These agreements represent the strong partnership between the two companies to jointly strengthen Duqm’s status as the upcoming regional hub for petroleum and petrochemical products. OTTCO is planning to build additional storage infrastructure in Duqm port with a designed capacity up to 300 000 m3, as part of Duqm liquid export terminal, to provide storage for the import and export of petroleum and (green) petrochemical products, making this development a next step in strengthening Oman s independent terminal network.
