For the past two weeks, Wetaskiwin’s Free Our Finest team has been showing their commitment to Special Olympics by jumping into show piles and make snow angels as donated funds come in.
Last week, Wetaskiwin Mayor Tyler Gandam said if they could raise $5,000, he’d join in and with temperatures at -27 degress Celsius, he took the plunge with team member Blain Fuller in front of City Hall.
