Former Roanoke Pharmacist Gets Jail Time for Tampering with Narcotics

By Marie K Tomlin Jan 29, 2021 ROANOKE, Va. (WSET) A now-former pharmacist in Roanoke will spend a year and a day behind bars for tampering with narcotics. Bryan Wade Lewis, 34, of Roanoke pleaded guilty in September to one count of tampering with the consumer product hydromorphone. Lewis faced up to 10 years in prison but was sentenced to serve one year and one day. “Tampering with powerful narcotics can harm patients and will not be tolerated,” said Acting U.S. Attorney Daniel P.
