Borders General Hospital A WOMAN who refused to leave the Borders General Hospital after being discharged and ended up assaulting police officers has been ordered to be of good behaviour for the next nine months. Stephanie Muir, 30, of Howdenbank, Hawick, pleaded guilty to threatening or abusive behaviour in the casualty department in December of last year and then assaulting two police officers. Selkirk Sheriff Court was told that Muir had been discharged earlier in the morning but said she did not want to leave. Members of staff tried to get her to leave but she continued to refuse to do so.
