Pallets of food were stolen from Comforter Christian Center last week the night before its weekly food distribution.(Omar Vega) A Grand Prairie church had to postpone it’s weekly food distribution event last week, not because of winter weather storms, but because all 48 pallets of food were stolen. Comforter Christian Center holds a food distribution events every Thursday, rain or shine. The food for the distribution sits outside next to the church building, where it’s usually safe, pastor Julius Bamibe said.
