Scott Baldinelli was recently named head of middle market banking in New England for Santander Bank. He previously served as senior vice president and division sales executive in commercial banking for Wells Fargo, where he worked for nearly 20 years. He has a bachelor’s degree in management from Providence College.
PBN: What does your new position entail?
Baldinelli: I manage a team of local relationship managers and together we provide custom credit, capital, treasury, risk management and international banking solutions to local New England businesses. Our teams partner with middle market companies, which we define as businesses from $10 million to more than $1 billion in annual revenues.

A 22-year-old Jamaica Plain man is facing a murder charge in a fatal shooting in September in Boston, police said.
Andy Febres was arrested Wednesday in Revere by the Boston Police Fugitive Unit on an outstanding warrant for accessory after the fact of murder in Roxbury District Court, police said in a statement.
Febres is also facing charges of murder and assault to murder, according to Boston Municipal Court records.
He was arraigned Thursday in the Roxbury Division of Boston Municipal Court. A not guilty plea was entered on his behalf to all charges, and he was ordered held, according to court records.

A ROAD in the centre of a Somerset town will be closed during the summer so improvement works can take place. Westminster Street in Yeovil will be the first area in the town where improvement work is set to take place under the Yeovil Refresh scheme. The scheme will help to improve the look of the town centre for shoppers, businesses, residents and workers. With an anticipated start date of June 28 2021, Midas Group (who are undertaking the work) will be applying to Somerset County Council for a complete closure of Westminster Street with a diversion route to be put in place.
