Recently, Westgate Entertainment Center installed bumper cars at the bowling center. At 9:35 a.m. Sunday, one of the bumper cars caught fire when an employee tried to charge the battery, causing the building to fill with smoke. The fire was out before American Township firefighters arrived on the scene. Firefighters had to use fans to clear the smoke from the building.
