A38 chaos after earlier crash in Plymouth - updates

A lane was closed on the A38 at The Parkway due to a collision involving a car and a lorry.
The incident is affecting westbound traffic from A3064 at the Weston Mill junction towards Pemros Road.
The lane closure impacted traffic approaching the Tamar Bridge.
Although the crash has now cleared, there are still heavy delays in the area.
Traffic reporting service Inrix says of the incident: Traffic easing, accident cleared on A38 Westbound from A3064 (Weston Mill) to Pemros Road.

Latest updates - A38 lane closed on Tamar Bridge due to police incident

One lane is currently closed on the A38 at the Tamar Bridge after a police incident .
The shut lane is the outer pedestrian cantilever lane, currently being used as an additional lane while resurfacing works on the Tamar Bridge are undertaken.
The incident has led to slow traffic with congestion westbound for traffic leaving Plymouth reported being as far back as St Budeaux Junction.
Traffic reporting service Inrix says: One lane blocked and very slow traffic due to police incident on A38 Westbound on Tamar Bridge.
