Cell doors have not been clanging as loudly as normal in Plymouth over the last four weeks.
But there have been a couple of hefty sentences over what has been a quiet month.
A robber was locked up for six years for holding up a pharmacy in broad daylight in a desperate bid to get enough drugs to kill himself.
And a paedophile has been caged for nine years for luring schoolgirls into sex acts over the internet.

You might not know some of them by name, but we are sure you will recognise their faces, or for some, their voices.
Plymouth, like many other areas, has many quirky and wonderful characters who the city would just not be the same without.
They re known for being themselves and bringing some fun to our streets.

A landmark bridge in Plymouth which frequently catches out lorry drivers could be torn down.
Plymouth City Council has mooted a number of proposals, including removing the redundant and troublesome seagull railway bridge in Embankment Road, to make the city s roads better. Traffic hotspots, including Marsh Mills roundabout, Cattedown roundabout and the Weston Mill junction to Camels Head, could also be set to see improvements to improve traffic flow.

In total, between February 6 and February 11, 46 death notices were placed, with some people having multiple postings so different family members can pay their respects.
