One teen arrested, another wanted in connection to shooting that left bystander injured Wanted teen considered armed and dangerous and last updated 2020-12-30 19:41:36-05 KILLEEN, TX — One teen has been arrested and another is wanted in connection to a Killeen shooting that left a bystander injured. Around 12:38 a.m. on Sunday, December 6, officers were dispatched to Mickey s Convenience Store, located in the 2100 block of South WS Young Drive, regarding a shooting and a female victim. When officers arrived, they found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound by unknown persons. Police say the victim arrived to the business and parked. A man exited a red Chevrolet car parked near the victim. Two other men then exited a gray four-door hatchback that was parked several spots away on the other side of the victim s vehicle.

Police: Three injured in Sunday shooting in Killeen

Police are investigating a shooting that injured three men in Killeen late Sunday afternoon. At approximately 5:10 p.m. Killeen Police Department officers were dispatched to the 2700 block of Alma Drive in response to a reported shooting, according to a KPD news release. Upon arrival, the officers found three males, all aged 18, suffering from gunshot wounds. Officers began performing life-saving measures until paramedics arrived, at which time the victims were transported to Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Temple, all in stable condition. “The preliminary investigation revealed that the three 18-year-old males were sitting inside a parked gold Mercedes Sedan on Alma Drive when a SUV, unknown color, drove by and fired gunshots towards the vehicle,” KPD Spokesperson Ofelia Miramontez said in the release, adding that the suspect vehicle fled the area in an unknown direction.

Feed the Fight gives to Baylor Scott & White COVID-19 responders

Waxahachie Daily Light Throughout the month of November and December, Feed the Fight has partnered with community organizations to bring appreciation and holiday cheer to Waxahachie Baylor Scott & White healthcare workers fighting at the COVID-19 front lines.  The first outreach took place on Nov. 11, with the Waxahachie Rotary Club as the first organization to partner with Feed the Fight.  Since we started in November, we have delivered 10 care packages to Baylor, shared Melissa Chapman, coordinator for Feed the Fight. The Waxahachie Chamber, Ellis County Title, Bridge of Hope Counseling Center, Servpro, Waxahachie Symphony and the Ellis County District Attorney’s Office are just a few of the donors who have stepped up to support these heroes in scrubs.
