White Point Beach Resort announced this morning that they will be closing down temporarily in response to the surge in COVID-19 cases.
In a Facebook post on the resort’s page, they said they made the decision in consultation with Nova Scotia Premier Iain Rankin and Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Robert Strang.
No timeframe was provided by the resort as to when they will reopen but they say they will be closely monitoring the situation so they can reopen their doors as quickly as can safely be done.
Earlier this year White Point closed there doors to any non-residents of Nova Scotia in spite of the fact that the Atlantic Bubble was in place at that time.
