A MAN has been left with serious life threatening injuries following a road traffic collision near Corwen yesterday afternoon. North Wales Police Roads Policing Unit are investigating a collision which occurred about 2.30pm on the A5 between Llidiart y Parc and Glyn Dyfrdwy, near Corwen. It involved a silver coloured Mini One convertible car and a Vauxhall Mini Bus. The male driver of the Mini was airlifted to the Critical Care Unit at Aintree Hospital where he remains in a serious condition. Investigating Officer, PC Rich Priamo of the Roads Policing Unit said: “I’m urging anyone who may have been travelling on the A5 road between Glyn Dyfrdwy and Corwen that saw a Silver Mini One Convertible driving from Corwen towards Llangollen between 2.15pm and 2.30pm to contact us immediately.
