In an exclusive interview, John (not his real name), is the first participant to speak directly to the media after the program s interviews with former bikie members were released. He said he wanted to remain anonymous because he still had a lot of enemies . A few years ago, I got involved in something and ended up in jail and there was no support for me, he told 7 News. I lost my family, I lost my kids to child services and there was nobody there to pick me up.

The program is for former outlaw motorcycle gang (OMCG) members wanting a lasting way out of gang life . The two Gangs Exit episodes, including Man Mountain - The Dan Kilian Story , were produced in partnership with the Australian Federal Police and the Queensland Government. However, sources told news.com.au that 24-year-old Kilian was convicted in mid-January of assault and strangulation offences against his former partner.
The ex-bikie paraded as a poster boy for gang reform in a Queensland Police documentary was a known reoffender who bashed his pregnant girlfriend before the film was released.
