New Delhi: The assembly elections to four states and one union territory is nearing their conclusion. Voting for the last phase ended in West Bengal today.
Zee News on Thursday (April 29) presented the Maha Exit Poll to predict who will win the elections to five assemblies - West Bengal (294 seats), Assam (126 seats), Tamil Nadu (234 seats), Kerala (140 seats) and Puducherry (30 seats).
BJP looks set to retain power in Assam and win Puducherry as well.
The battle of Bengal looks quite close, but as per the Maha Exit Poll, BJP certainly has an edge here as well.

New Delhi, April 29 : The BJP led-NDA is set grab the strongholds of Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress and the Left in West Bengal as out of the 79 such seats, the saffron party is projected to win 37 seats, according to the CVoter Exit Poll for Times Now/ABP News.
Out of the 79 important constituencies, the Trinamool is likely to win 40 seats, while the BJP is projected to win 37, and one each would go to the Congress and the Left, as per the exit poll.

New Delhi, April 29 : Mamata Banerjee s Trinamool Congress is set to retain power in West Bengal, all exit polls, except two, indicated after the month-long, eight-phase Assembly polls ended on Thursday.
Apart from the Axis My India-India Today and the Republic-CNX exit polls, which gave the BJP an edge in the battleground state, all other surveys, including the CVoter Exit Poll for Times Now/ABP News, forecast a third victory for the Trinamool, putting it ahead in the 294-member Assembly.

The survey also stated that in West Bengal, the AIMIM and Indian Secular Front failed to spell trouble for the Trinamool Congress

New Delhi: The Muslim population in West Bengal dumped the Left-Congress combine and voted for the Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress in the just-concluded Assembly elections in the state, while the community backed the Congress and the AIUDF in Assam, according to the CVoter Exit Poll for Times Now/ABP News released on Thursday.
The two districts of West Bengal where the Muslim population voted for the Left-Congress combine are Murshidabad and Malda, but everywhere else they voted for Mamata Banerjee, as per the exit poll survey.
