Lilliput named as Adventure Centre of the Year!
Prestigious award for lakeside attraction

It is one of the best loved and most well run adventure centres in the country so it was was not too surprising that Franky Wright’s Lilliput Adventure Centre has been named as Adventure Centre of the Year by the Corporate Livewire Prestige Awards, who recognise small and medium-sized businesses that have proven to be the best in their market over the past 12 months.
“We were nominated by customers and a big factor was the remarkable feedback that Lilliput received on social media for our events, such as Celtic Warrior, Lilliput Legend Adventure Race, RHYTHM 5 km, our summer camps and all our other events.” Franky explained when we spoke to him this week with the Corporate Livewire Prestige Awards organisers admitting they have never quite seen

A man from Allegany County was taken into custody in Livingston County following an investigation into decades of rape and sex abuse.
Investigators say it started in October 2020 when a woman said she had been sexually abused by a man she knew in the late-1990s. They learned through investigation that there were a number of victims, and in some cases- the assaults took place over a span of 60 years.

Harpswell re-elects Wright to school board
Frank Wright was re-elected to the MSAD 75 school board over challenger Sean Hall in a 381-132 vote Saturday.

Harpswell residents re-elected Frank Wright to the Maine School Administrative District 75 school board on Saturday.
Wright trumped challenger Sean Hall in a 381-132 vote to claim the three-year term, according to results provided by Deputy Town Clerk Cathy Doughty. Timothy Prindall, who told The Times Record he withdrew from the election last month, received 20 votes.
MSAD 75 includes Topsham, Harpswell, Bowdoin and Bowdoinham.
Wright said he’s looking forward to “continuing to serve” the community for the next three years.
