The market, in collaboration with a state group, was awarded a grant of $8,850 to provide produce and education for a Skowhegan food pantry and help fund its match for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits.
At Monday's town meeting, voters also are expected to review a proposed $4.26 million budget for 2024-25, which represents a 5% increase over the budget approved last year.
