Meritus Hotels & Resorts (MHR) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. George Benney as general manager of Shanghai JC Mandarin with effect from July 2009. George is a seasoned hotelier who has more than 25 years of experience in high-level management.
After spending 28 years with the Hyatt Group, George worked with Mandarin Oriental Jakarta in 2000 and was last with The Sukhothai, Bangkok, a member of the Leading Hotels of the World.
