The Laredo Mountain Bike Youth Team saw a short year of competition in 2020 as the group was only able to participate in a couple races from a full slate scheduled.
The group’s participation in the National Interscholastic Cycling Association, a statewide youth league, was extremely limited. However, things are looking up for the mountain bike team this year.
“At the beginning of the pandemic, in spring 2020, we didn’t know much about the virus, and from the league to the parents we decided to hang the bikes for the season and wait for more information,” Laredo Mountain Bike Youth Team coach and director Luis Alejandro Dominguez said.
