It was a busy weekend for members of the Welsford Volunteer Fire Department.
Just after noon Saturday, crews were called after a camp burnt down and caught brush on fire.
According to a Facebook post from the department, they had to deploy their boat to get to the scene.
“Crews worked in coordination with forest rangers” from the Department of Energy and Resource Development, according to the post.
Later in the day, firefighters got a call about a lost hiker in the Mount Douglas area.
They quickly located the hikers and brought them off the mountain.

A close call for the owners of a home in Welsford on Tuesday afternoon.
The Welsford Fire Department said they got a call about a vehicle fire on Route 101 just before 4:30 p.m.
“On arrival crews discovered a vehicle, fully involved in fire only 10 feet from a residence,” the department said in a Facebook post.
Crews were able to quickly knock down the flames and prevent any damage to the home.
Firefighters were on the scene for nearly an hour.
