A Welsh Conservative candidate said she is deeply sorry for meeting her local party chairman in the official s home near Wrexham.
A local resident has said he saw Clwyd South s Barbara Hughes go into the home of Jane Newton earlier this month.
Ms Hughes was also alleged to have travelled in a car with Ms Newton while canvassing, against party guidelines. I want to apologise for these mistakes, she said. And regardless of the circumstances, I was in the wrong. I understand the seriousness of my actions and I am deeply sorry.
Robert Beavis - Reform UK We delivered on that trust and now we ask that you do this again. We have changed our name to Reform UK and now want to reform Wales. Devolution isn’t working, but we believe this is because of third-rate Labour politicians. We will reform devolution to ensure government is leaner and more decisive. Cancelling devolution and handing power to Westminster Tories would be a backwards step. The Tories are indivisible from Labour and do not have our best interests at heart. AS TENS of thousands of people head to the polls in Conwy to cast their vote in the Senedd election, here are the coronavirus rules you need to know. Polling stations will open on Tuesday, May 6 for the sixth general election in Wales since the Welsh Government was formed in 1999, however this time round polling stations will look rather different. Stations will be open from 7am to 10pm and, if there is a queue, voters will still be able cast their vote as long as you joined it before 10pm. Due to the pandemic, there will be safety measures in place at polling stations. Social distancing measures will limit on how many people are allowed inside the polling station at each time and, when entering, voters will be expected to wear a face covering.
