Lenoir-Rhyne Men’s Lacrosse had seven players selected to the All-Region team and Eric Dickinson has been named the Offensive Player of the Year in the South Region.
Dickinson, who also took home South Atlantic Conference Player of the Year honors, becomes the first LR player to earn Regional Offensive Player of the Year honors. Dickinson is just four goals away from 200 in has the Bears in the National Semifinal game for the second time in program history.
Joining Dickinson on the First Team All-Region is Bryce Reece at midfield. Reece earns his first All-Region selection as the sophomore is fourth on the team with 23 goals scored.
For the first time in program history, the Lenoir-Rhyne Men’s Lacrosse Team is heading to the NCAA Division II National Championship Game thanks to an 18-10 win over Wingate in the Regional Final on Sunday afternoon. The men’s lax team joins the 2013 Football squad as the only two LR programs to advance to the National Championship game in the NCAA era.
