The Silent-Resorts concept from Austrian manufacturer Silent-Yachts a project that uses its solar-powered boats as “floating sustainable villas” has announced its first resort is slated to break ground in the Bahamas in 2021. The project is said to include 16, four-bedroom waterfront villas and eight Silent-Yachts catamarans, and will offer a beachside clubhouse and pool, restaurant, bar, fitness room, game room, and spa all utilizing solar power. The first 25 founding memberships are now available: For $395,000, founders get a lifetime membership that grants access to one of its four-cabin yachts, a four-bedroom, on-land villa and the resorts’ facilities for five weeks or more per year. The location in the Bahamas is the first of others we are considering, including Belize, Panama, French Polynesia, Maldives, Indonesia, and more in the world’s most beautiful archipelagos and yachting destinations,” said Silent-R
