Drew Lock quietly going about business during 2021 Denver Broncos offseason

Photo by Joe Scarnici/Getty Images As Broncos fans, we all know that Drew Lock did not have a good 2020 season. After flashing signs of competence and swagger during the 2019 campaign, expectations that he would be the next great Broncos quarterback were, to put it nicely, not met. Whether it was the lack of a preseason, any healthy players, or just dumb luck, Drew Lock has shouldered the bulk of the responsibility for 2019’s ineptitude. Such is life when you’re the quarterback in Denver. Not only has he had to hear a non-stop deluge of fan discontent over his low quarterback rankings in key stats, he’s had to endure first the Deshaun Watson rumors, the acquisition of Teddy Bridgewater, and then the ongoing Aaron Rodgers trade fervor.
