DeltaClimeVT selects Energy 2021 cohort and kicks off virtual programming

Thu, 05/06/2021 - 3:45am tim Vermont Business Magazine Vermont Sustainable Jobs Fund (VSJF) announces the selection of the Energy 2021 cohort of the DeltaClime VT climate economy business accelerator. Seven early-stage energy companies from across the US and Canada will work with climate economy leaders, industry experts, potential partners and investment professionals over the next three months while completing an intensive curriculum, developed by ecosVC, during online workshops, webinars and mentoring sessions. The Vermont-based business accelerator kicked off the Energy 2021 program (the fifth cohort for the DeltaClime VT business accelerator) last week during a virtual sprint. For three days, entrepreneurs worked together via Zoom conferencing with facilitators Joseph Steig and Judy Giordan, and VSJF Business Assistance Director Geoff Robertson.

The continuation of leadership was voted upon during the VPPSA Annual Meeting. “VPPSA is honored to continue working with this group of utility leaders,” said VPPSA General Manager, Ken Nolan. “The last year demonstrated how our board of directors can quickly adapt to changing operations, allowing both their utilities and VPPSA to thrive during an unprecedented pandemic. I’m confident our current group of decision-makers will continue to propel Vermont’s community-owned utilities forward.”
