As the country turns the corner from the coronavirus, nurses are still recovering from what has been a long season of laboring.
Veronica Poole-Adams, facility executive and chief nurse executive at Atrium Health Cleveland is reminding everyone what nurses have gone through and how dedicated her staff has been.
“Nurses are amazing people,” said Poole-Adams. “I feel they are the glue of healthcare. I am honored to be part of such a wonderful nursing team.”
What started out as Nurses Week has turned into a month-long celebration, according to the American Nurses Association.
Poole-Adams, who has given 39 years of service, said nurses are the glue to healthcare and pointed to the relentless care and treatment given through the pandemic.
