The Walking Gallery set up along a fence on First Avenue North on Thursday evening was vandalized, with some pieces broken or taken. Only the sign and three pieces remain. If anyone has information about this crime of vandalism, contact the Weyburn Police Service or any member of the Weyburn Arts Council. The council has stated also if someone has one of the missing art pieces, they can leave it by the fence and they will rehang it, no questions asked. The first two photos show the gallery as it looked on Saturday, and the other photos were of the installation on Thursday evening.
Members of the Weyburn Arts Council installed some of their art pieces for a Walking Gallery on the fence along First Avenue, along the property of the former St. Dominic Savio School, on Thursday.
