Search underway for man missing in remote Cape York, FNQ
Police are coordinating a search for missing Victorian man Bruce Atkinson, on a 4WD adventure in remote far north Queensland, after her failed to arrive at a campsite last night (Monday, August 2).
Bruce, who had been travelling in convoy with another Victorian man, was last seen around midday yesterday travelling east on Frenchman’s track, between Portland Road and Pascoe River.
The two Victorian men were traversing Frenchman’s track, a 4WD track with high difficulty, when 63-year-old Bruce decided to turn back instead of attempting to cross the Pascoe River.
