Scales of Justice: Latest court results for Oxfordshire

Oxford Magistrates Court OXFORD MAGISTRATES COURT DAMIAN KASZEWSKI, 30, of St Johns Drive, Carterton, admitted failing to stop in Carterton on June 2, 2020, driving a BMW 116 without insurance, drink-driving and driving without a licence. He was banned from the roads for 42 months, fined £543 and ordered to pay £138 in costs and surcharge.  DAMIEN PAINTIN, 31, of Saunders Road, Oxford, pleaded guilty to possession of kitchen knives at Iffley Turn on April 6, 2021. He was fined £160 and ordered to pay £119 in costs and surcharge. DARREN RANCE, 39, of Ruscote Avenue, Banbury, admitted driving a Range Rover on the A4095 near Chesterton, without a licence or insurance. He was given eight penalty points, fined £1,476 and ordered to pay £85 in costs. 

Salisbury pays tribute to Aneta and Nikoleta Zdun after murder

CARING , kind , and never a dull moment . These were just some of the words used to describe mother and daughter Aneta and Nikoleta Zdun today, June 1, during the special memorial service that marked one year since they were murdered. Residents gathered at the pair’s memorial bench in Queen Elizabeth Gardens today for the ceremony, to pay tribute to the former Wessex Care worker and the Wiltshire College student. Canon Kelvin Inglis, Rector of St Thomas s, led today’s ceremony, which was attended by mayor of Salisbury Caroline Corbin, representing the city, and the Bishop of Salisbury, the Rt Revd Nicholas Holtam.
