Wexford-Missaukee Career Technical Center Unveils Student Built Home June 4, 2021 As part of their applied construction technology program, students have been building a beautiful, three bedroom home. On Friday, students got the chance to bring their families for an open house to show off what their class has accomplished. The program’s student of the year, Brendan McRoberts, became interested in the class because his father is a carpenter, and says he’s learned a wide variety of construction skills in the past two years. “They were pretty impressed about like how well it turned out,  it’s a really nice house, and my dad likes to see that I can do what he’s been doing, and I think they were very impressed,” said McRoberts.
