Lake of the Woods District Hospital begins vaccinating staff

Article content The Lake of the Woods District Hospital has begun jabbing staff’s arms with the COVID-19 vaccine. Hospital president and CEO Ray Racette said they have inoculated 121 staff members and physicians within the facility. On Feb. 17, the Northwestern Health Unit received 300 doses, with more than 100 being doled out to the LWDH and the hospital began inoculating staff in the intensive care unit, emergency department and in-patient staff dealing with COVID-19 patients in a day and a half.
