Ministry of Defence waives off landing charges at Port Blair Airport for promotion of International flights Port Blair, Feb 21 (UNI) In view of the larger interest of the development of these Islands, the Ministry of Defence has conveyed its decision to waive off the landing charges at Port Blair Airport initially for a period of three years for the promotion of international flights by airlines. This has come, as a result of vigorous follow-ups by A & N Administration with Ministries of Home Affairs and Defence to tap the tourism potential of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
