The 2 x 4 For Hope and area veterans are preparing for the three new homes that are being built to help at risk veterans. Mark Lawrence, Founder of 2x4 For Hope from Quincy, said they have been laying the groundwork prior to Saturday’s work day with volunteers. “The idea of it is we take a pile of lumber and build a home in seven days. We’ve perfected it and in the end its for veterans,” said Lawrence.
