Mark Lawrence, Founder of 2x4 For Hope from Quincy, said they have been laying the groundwork prior to Saturday’s work day with volunteers. “The idea of it is we take a pile of lumber and build a home in seven days. We’ve perfected it and in the end its for veterans,” said Lawrence.
