IPOH: While congratulating Datuk Saarani Mohamad
(pic) over his appointment, local community leaders and industry captains are urging the newly minted Mentri Besar to focus on the welfare of all Perakians.
Perak Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCCI) president Datuk Liew Sew Yee is looking forward to working with the new state government.
“The business community is apolitical and will always want to work closely with the government of the day.
“We have been severely impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic and really hope the government can help us stay afloat,” he said.
Liew said he hoped the state administration, which has changed twice this year, would be stable.
