Briggs & Stratton recalls YTL, Longli and TIYA log splitters

Photo source: CPSCBriggs & Stratton of Wauwatosa, Wis., is recalling about 20,000 YTL, Longli and TIYA Log Splitters with Briggs & Stratton 250cc engines sold in the U.S. and Canada.
An incorrect engine ignition coil and flywheel can lead to hard starting and engine kick back, posing an injury hazard to the operator.
The company is aware of two incidents, which resulted in broken wrists.
This recall involves YTL, Longli and TIYA log splitters powered by Briggs & Stratton 250cc engine model number 15T232-0011-F8, with serial numbers 160331883074 through 2012073736714, and model number 15T232-1850-F1, with serial numbers 2004260782583 through 2012284118417. The engine’s model number is printed on the valve cover and the engine’s serial number is printed on the blower housing cover.

GREAT FALLS â The Special Olympics Montana State Summer Games wrapped up in style Saturday afternoon with the 27th Annual MTN Chevy Raffle Drawing at City Motors in Great Falls.
Even with pandemic making sales more difficult, athletes and volunteers sold 99,861 total tickets and raised $500,160 for Special Olympics Montana programs.
Across the 27 years, the MTN Chevy Truck raffle has raised $14,514,660.71 for SOMT.
The top three athlete ticket sellers were Jon Hargett, Brian Jackson and Jamie Darko. Hargett and Jackson were on hand for the event on Saturday to help draw the winning tickets.
