The Mango Foundation, the non-profit organization supporting environmental sustainability, has planted 5,000 more trees with its newest partner, One Tree Planted. The major milestone was done in conjunction with its for-profit partners, Home Trends & Design and World Interiors.
The plantings, which are occurring around the world, are done to offset the environmentally exploitative practices in place in the global furniture industry and work towards creating a better, cleaner world.
“This is just one small step,” said Mango Foundation founder Hank Cravey. “It is just one milestone of many on the long road that leads to greener pastures. We plan on repeating this effort on an ongoing basis.”
