30 more electric vehicle charging points to be installed across Cumbria More electric vehicle charging points will be installed across Cumbria, it has been revealed. The county council plans to install 30 new charging points – which it says is the single largest public investment in charging infrastructure in the county to date. The new charging points will be located at five council-owned sites in the county: Cumbria House Car Park, Carlisle Cecil Street Car Park, Carlisle County Hall Car Park, Kendal Maryport Transport Hub Workington Transport Hub The County Council is investing £250,000 in the project, which will significantly expand the Council’s existing network of charging points around the county.
