A teenager has shared his near-death beach experience after picking up one of the world s deadliest animals which harbors enough venom to kill 700 people.
The teenager, identified only as Jono, from Queensland, Australia, is an avid shell collector who regularly heads down to the ocean to search for specimens.
The 19-year-old uploaded a clip to TikTok earlier this week, sharing the moment he came inches away from death, after picking up a pretty textile cone.
Inside was a cone snail, which is among the most venomous creatures on earth.
Venomous Snake Found Hiding Among Plant Pots in Yard

A venomous snake has been found hiding among some plant pots at a home in eastern Australia, a video posted on Facebook shows.
The homeowners, who live in Landsborough located in the Sunshine Coast region of Queensland state alerted local snake catchers after they spotted the serpent.
But when a team from Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers 24/7 arrived at the home, they initially could not find the snake.

The residents had spotted the snake inside a wicker plant pot holder, which they had subsequently covered with a plastic container and bricks to keep the animal inside.
