Contract: 2 years (renewable) Positioning and reporting Under the authority of the Deputy Director General (International Standards and Science) and the supervision of the Head of Department (HoD). Job purpose The Scientific Coordinator in the Antimicrobial Resistance and Veterinary Products (AMR & VP) Department contributes to the scientific excellence of the Organisation’s work in support of the responsible and prudent use of antimicrobials and the quality of veterinary products, The Scientific Coordinator will actively participate in the delivery of the OIE Strategy on Antimicrobials Resistance and Prudent Use of Antimicrobials and the activities of the OIE Working Group in collaboration with other team members of the AMR & VP Department. He/she contributes to promoting the position of the OIE on the topics, in particular through collaboration with OIE’s partner organisations, relevant international networks and academia.
