New Delhi: While the number of protesters at various sites in Haryana, including its Tikri and Kundli borders with Delhi, may have dipped due to the rise in COVID-19 cases, farmer leaders across the state insist that the agitation against the three farm laws is on and would be intensified once the pandemic subsides. Moreover, with over six months passing since the protests started, they caution that the protesting farmers have now started getting restless as the Centre and the state government have been ignoring their demands.
It Is Time Farmers Build a Protest Coalition With Other Groups Against the BJP
With an indifferent regime and media blacking out protests, farmers need to recalibrate their strategy to bring together a diverse set of groups across various sectors and regions to challenge the BJP.

Farmer’s protests and mobilisation are as active as before, it is only that the media has blacked it out.
Farmers are not exhausted, but they sure are in a quandary as to what to do next: not only to get farm laws repealed but also to put agriculture back on the economic map of the country.
