Burlington, Ia- A Burlington Church will, for the final time, be giving away free food boxes to the community.
This weekend, Calvary Baptist Church will once again be receiving upwards of 1,200 food boxes from the USDA’s “Farmers to Families Program” designated for Des Moines County.
This will be the final time the food distribution will take place due to the program coming to a close at the end of the month. Calvary Baptist will once again be distributing the free boxes of food to the community on Saturday, May 22nd, 2021, from 8 AM to Noon, or until all the boxes are gone. This is being done on a first come first serve basis.

Burlington, Ia- A Burlington church is once again hosting a free food box giveaway.
This weekend, Calvary Baptist Church will once again be receiving upwards of 1,200 food boxes from the USDA’s “Farmers to Families Program” designated for Des Moines County.
Calvary Baptist Church will for the 7th time be helping to distribute these free boxes of food to the community on Saturday, April 24th, from 8:00 am – Noon, or until all the boxes are gone (whichever comes first). This is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
If you would like one of these boxes, plan to drive through the church’s parking lot by entering the driveway from the westbound lane of West Avenue at 2710 West Ave in Burlington, IA this Saturday. Church individuals will be on hand to load the box into your vehicle for you.

He says up to 500,000 people in Central Florida are food-insecure.
