Montague Police Logs: June 18 to June 26, 2021 >Montague, June 18 6:11 a.m. Man calls dispatcher speaking about a police chief in California. 10:58 a.m. Caller states that another vehicle at Family Dollar on Avenue A hit her vehicle and then the driver got out and walked away. 11:34 a.m. Walgreens employee reporting the pharmacy received a fraudulent prescription via fax. The Walgreens in Greenfield also received one from the same person for the same prescription. Officer Nathan Pervere will follow up with a detective. Employee reporting a man just came in and tried to pick up the fake prescription. When asked for ID, the man turned and walked away. He got into the passenger side of a smaller white Honda sedan with New York plates and headed north on Avenue A. BOLO given to Shelburne Control. Person Reported Missing Near Pillar Falls

UPDATE, 7/23: The Twin Falls County Sheriff s Office is asking people to stay away from Pillar Falls this morning as they continue their search for a missing person on the Snake River. Twin Falls County Sheriff s Office Spokesperson Lori Stewart said late Friday morning crews were looking for a female juvenile. The girl had been part of a group swimming at Pillar Falls on Thursday evening before the emergency call went out at around 6:30 p.m. People have been asked to stay clear of Pillar Falls and Centennial Park to give emergency crews room to work. UPDATE: The Twin Falls Fire Department said the search for the missing person was called off shortly before 9:30 p.m. as it got darker. The Twin Falls County Sheriff s Office is planning the phase of the search.

Family Displaced by House Fire in Twin Falls TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX)-Adults and several children made it out of a house that caught fire late Sunday evening in Twin Falls. According to the Twin Falls Fire Department, at around 6 p.m. July 18, three adults and five children had been inside the home on the 300 block of Diamond Avenue before the fire started. The fire had started on the porch of the house and moved to the inside and attic. The Rock Creek Fire District also responded to the fire to help the Twin Falls Fire Department. Magic Valley Paramedics and Twin Falls Police were also on scene. What caused the fire is under investigation. A GoFundMe account has been set up for the family.
