Seattle Mariners President Kevin Mather Repeatedly Puts Foot In Mouth During Interview
The executive criticized players English and said his star third baseman was overpaid.
Seattle Mariners CEO and team president Kevin Mather apologized late Sunday night for comments made during a recent online event where he expressed opinions about organizational strategy, personnel moves and club finances.
Mather’s comments came in a speech to the Bellevue, Washington, Breakfast Rotary Club on Feb. 5 and were posted online over the weekend.
“I want to apologize to every member of the Seattle Mariners organization, especially our players and to our fans. There is no excuse for my behavior, and I take full responsibility for my terrible lapse in judgment,” Mather’s statement said. “My comments were my own. They do not reflect the views and strategy of the Mariners baseball leadership who are responsible for decisions about the development and status of the players at all levels of
Upgrades to existing walking infrastructure.
Upgrades to associated infrastructure (such a parking or signage).
Improved information relating to walks.
New short walks (less than a day).
New multi-day hikes (cabins or camping).
New walks to facilitate other recreational activities (fishing, kayaking, rock climbing).
New walks to viewing areas or scenic spots or other attractions.
The Strategy should develop a list of projects based on an analysis of previous strategies and market information to identify a mix of projects that will provide achievement of the aims above. It should include relevant information on the market segments and requirements.
The project list should include consideration of:
A dinosaur valentine, Texas snowstorms, and a Trump implosion round out the best images.

Tickets to go on sale for netball clash
Tickets go on sale tomorrow (9am Wed 17 Feb) for next month’s ground-breaking Suncorp Super Netball clash at Orange’s Anzac Park.
Orange will host the first 2021 Suncorp Super Netball game with spectators watching in the venue, since the season closed in 2019, as the Giants take on the Adelaide Thunderbirds in a pre-season match.
The two teams will take the court on Saturday, March 6 at the Anzac Park indoor stadium.
Orange Mayor Reg Kidd said the event is set to be one of the biggest ever sports event at the stadium.
