[이데일리 송승현 기자] 타이어 기업 한국타이어앤테크놀로지(161390)(한국타이어)가 글로벌 프리미엄 완성차 업체 BMW의 고성능 브랜드 M 라인업 ‘X3 M’과 ‘X4 M’에 ‘벤투스 S1 에보 Z’를 신차용 타이어(OE)로 공급한다고 16일 밝혔다.
BMW M은 메르세데스-벤츠 AMG, 아우디 RS와 함께 글로벌을 대표하는 3대 스포츠 레이싱 브랜드다. 각 완성차를 대표하는 모델인 만큼 모든 면에 있어 최고만을 지향한다. 한국타이어는 이번 ‘X3 M’과 ‘X4 M’ 공급을 통해 BMW의 M 라인업에 최고의 기술력과 품질 경쟁력을 인정 받으며 최초로 OE 공급을 시작하게 됐다.
