Thinkerbell Wins Repco Creative Account Repco’s recently signed a 5-year partnership with Supercars and will sponsor the Bathurst Repco 1000 in October 2021. Thinkerbell has won the Repco Australia and New Zealand account following a competitive pitch. The agency will replace Cummins & Partners and take over strategy and creative ideation duties. “The journey Thinkerbell took us on was brilliant. They got to the heart of our challenge and have found an excellent way to bring to life Repco’s experience and passion,” said Amy Frangos, Executive General Manager Strategy and Marketing of GPC Asia Pacific. Thinkerbell’s win follows the commencement of Repco’s 5-year partnership with Supercars and sponsorship of the Bathurst Repco 1000 in October 2021.

The agency will oversee the firm’s brand, retail and trade activations. Thinkerbell’s appointment comes as the automotive parts retailer kicks off a five-year naming rights deal with Supercars and sponsorship of the Bathurst Repco 1000. The Repco Supercars Championship, as it will now be called, last week signed a three-year strategic partnership with open web discovery and recommendation platform Taboola. ADVERTISEMENT Thinkerbell chief executive Margie Reid said the agency will build on Repco’s recent “transformation”. “Repco’s passion for motorsport and the automotive industry was infectious during the pitch process,” she said. “They’ve been on a process of transformation recently, and we look forward to working together with them to further enliven the brand with a big dose of Measured Magic.”

March 10 2021, 11:44 am | BY Ricki Green | 46 Comments NRMA Insurance has partnered with Australian music icon Julia Stone and Lifeline Australia, in a new initiative by Thinkerbell, to highlight the continued need for mental health support for people affected by the Black Summer bushfires.   As part of the idea, Stone has created a moving bush poem, “Next To Me”. The poem sheds light on the ongoing mental health trauma experienced by people impacted by bushfires and aims to reassure those who are struggling a year on, that help is still available. The poem is in response to Lifeline Australia continuing to receive more than 400 calls a day to its dedicated Bushfire Recovery Helpline.
