MERIDENÂ â Officers injured in incident on N. Second Street Monday night have all been treated and released from area hospitals, police said. Five officers were injured when a man drove into them while they were attempting to approach a vehicle.Â
All of the officers injured are recovering at home, Lt. Darrin McKay said Tuesday morning. Their injuries included a concussion, a broken foot, along with sprains and strains, McKay said in an update. The names of the involved officers were not released, but McKay said they include members from the patrol division up through the detective bureau.Â
