NORRISTOWN â A Philadelphia woman accused of supplying the drugs that led to the overdose death of a Willow Grove man will face a jury that will decide her fate in September.
The jury trial for Johneia Marie Garrett, 26, of the 1500 block of Widener Place, will begin on Sept. 13, according to an order issued by Montgomery County Judge William R. Carpenter, who will preside over the trial, which is expected to last five days.
Garrett, who listed a previous address along the 1900 block of Coolidge Avenue in Upper Moreland, faces charges of drug delivery resulting in death, involuntary manslaughter, criminal use of a communication facility, possession with intent to deliver heroin or fentanyl, tampering with physical evidence and recklessly endangering another person in connection with the April 2019 overdose death of Nicholas Golden in his Willow Grove residence.

The NSW government is free to demolish and relocate the historic villa of Willow Grove to make way for the $915 million Parramatta Powerhouse after opponents exhausted all legal avenues to halt its construction.

The group immediately called for a moratorium
CFMEU NSW
The NSW CFMEU has reaffirmed that its Green Ban on the demolition of Willow Grove stands and is warning the NSW Government against using the cover of the covid lockdown to try to bulldoze the heritage building.
“The CFMEU will stand with the community of Parramatta to protect this unique and irreplaceable piece of local heritage,” said Darren Greenfield, CFMEU NSW Secretary.
“If any builders move onto the site to try to commence demolition work they need to understand that the union will step in.”
“The State Government and Infrastructure NSW have more than enough on their plates dealing with the covid outbreak and its impact on the community without kicking off a fight over Willow Grove.”
